Resumen: Objetivo: Analizar las prácticas de atención a la salud en el proceso de aborto tipificadas como violencia obstétrica. Metodología: Estudio cualitativo y descriptivo, realizado en un hospital público en Brasil con 15 profesionales de salud de nivel medio y superior. Los datos fueron recogidos presencialmente, a través de un guion de entrevista semiestructurada. El perfil fue analizado por la estadística descriptiva simple y las cuestiones abiertas por la técnica de contenido temática propuesta por Bardin. Resultados: Se evidenció que los profesionales de salud presentaron conocimiento insuficiente sobre violencia obstétrica en el momento en que la restringieron al parto o aborto, a la tipificación física/verbal e identificaron solo a los médicos y enfermeras como los principales perpetradores. Las prácticas que denotan violencia obstétrica se relacionan a la asignación de las mujeres en proceso de aborto en el mismo ambiente que gestantes y puérperas, y al emitir juicios de valor en el momento de la asistencia. Conclusión: Hay necesidad de educación permanente para que los profesionales puedan asistir de manera humanizada y cualificada.

Abstract: Objective: To analyze health care practices in the abortion process typified as obstetric violence. Methodology: Qualitative and descriptive study, conducted in a public hospital in Brazil with 15 health professionals of medium and higher education. The data were collected in person, through a semi-structured interview script. The profile was analyzed by simple descriptive statistics and the questions opened by the thematic content technique proposed by Bardin. Results: It was evidenced that health professionals had insufficient knowledge about obstetric violence at the time they restricted it to childbirth or abortion, physical/verbal typing and identified only doctors and nurses as the main perpetrators. The practices that denote obstetric violence are related to the allocation of women in the process of abortion in the same environment as pregnant women and puerperal women and when issuing value judgments at the time of care. Conclusion: There is a need for permanent education so that the professionals can assist in a humanized and qualified way.

Resumo: Objetivo: Analisar as práticas assistenciais de saúde no processo do abortamento tipificadas como violência obstétrica. Metodologia: Estudo qualitativo e descritivo, realizado em um hospital público no Brasil com 15 profissionais de saúde de nível médio e superior. Os dados foram coletados presencialmente, através de um roteiro de entrevista semiestruturada. O perfil foi analisado pela estatística descritiva simples e as questões abertas pela técnica de conteúdo temática proposta por Bardin. Resultados: Evidenciou-se que as práticas que denotam violência obstétrica relacionam-se a alocação das mulheres em processo de abortamento no mesmo ambiente que gestantes e puérperas e ao emitirem juízos de valor no momento da assistência às mulheres. Conclusão: Há necessidade de educação permanente para que as/os profissionais possam assistir de maneira humanizada e qualificada.

Resumen: Objetivos: Trazar las características biopsicosociales de mujeres en el ciclo gravídico-puerperal y analizar las representaciones sociales de estas mujeres sobre violencia obstétrica Metodología: Estudio descriptivo, de abordaje cualitativo, guiado por la teoría de las representaciones sociales, realizado en el período de septiembre de 2021 a abril de 2022, con 40 mujeres atendidas en una maternidad de Minas Gerais, en Brasil. Los datos fueron recogidos a través de un guion de entrevista semiestructurada y de la técnica de asociación libre de palabras. La caracterización fue analizada por la estadística descriptiva simple, la entrevista semiestructurada por la técnica de contenido temático propuesta por Bardin, y la técnica de asociación libre de palabras por el software Iramuteq. Resultados: 82.5 % de las participantes poseían rango de 18 y 29 años, 77.5 % se identificaron como pardas, 25 % poseían enseñanza media completa y 65 % refirieron renta de 1 a 3 salarios mínimos. En cuanto a la historia obstétrica, 52 % poseían edad gestacional entre 37 y 41 semanas, 70 % no habían planeado el embarazo, 42.5 % habían sido admitidas en trabajo de parto y 87.5 % estaban acompañadas. La violencia obstétrica es representada por las mujeres de manera superficial, con enfoque en la dimensión física y emocional, a veces naturalizada. Conclusión: La violencia obstétrica es una grave problemática vivida por el público femenino y la falta de conocimiento puede llevar a la naturalización, dejándolas en posición de amplia vulnerabilidad

Abstract: Objectives: To trace the biopsychosocial characteristics of women in the pregnancy-puerperal cycle and to analyze the social representations of these women on obstetric violence. Methodology: Descriptive study, qualitative approach, guided by the Theory of Social Representations conducted in the period from September 2021 to April 2022, with 40 women assisted in a maternity hospital in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The data was collected through a script of semi-structured interview and the technique of free association of words. The characterization was analyzed by simple descriptive statistics, the semi-structured interview by the thematic content technique proposed by Bardin and the free word association technique by Iramuteq software. Results: 82.5 % of the participants had a range of 18 and 29 years, 77.5% self-identified as pardas (mixed race), 25 % had completed high school and 65 % reported income from 1 to 3 minimum wages. Regarding obstetric history, 52,0% had gestational age between 37 and 41 weeks, 70.0% had not planned pregnancy, 42.5% had been admitted for labor and 87.5% were monitored. Obstetric violence is represented by women in a superficial way with a focus on the physical and emotional dimension, being in some moments naturalized. Conclusion: Obstetric violence is a serious problem experienced by the female public and the lack of knowledge can lead to naturalization, leaving them in a position of broad vulnerability

Resumo: Objetivos: Traçar as características biopsicossociais das mulheres no ciclo grávido-puerperal e analisar as representações sociais dessas mulheres sobre a violência obstétrica. Metodologia: Estudo descritivo, de abordagem qualitativa, norteado pela Teoria das Representações Sociais, realizado no período de setembro de 2021 a abril de 2022, com 40 mulheres atendidas em uma maternidade de Minas Gerais, no Brasil. Os dados foram coletados por meio de um roteiro de entrevista semiestruturada e da técnica de associação livre de palavras. A caracterização foi analisada pela estatística descritiva simples, a entrevista semiestruturada pela técnica de conteúdo temática proposta por Bardin e a técnica de associação livre de palavras pelo software Iramuteq. Resultados: 82,5 % das participantes possuíam faixa de 18 e 29 anos, 77,5 % intitularam-se pardas, 25 % tinham ensino médio completo e 65 % referiram renda de 1 a 3 salários-mínimos. Quanto à história obstétrica, 52 % possuíam idade gestacional entre 37 e 41 semanas, 70 % não haviam planejado a gravidez, 42,5 % haviam sido admitidas em trabalho de parto e 87,5 % estavam acompanhadas. A violência obstétrica é representada pelas mulheres de maneira superficial com enfoque na dimensão física e emocional, sendo em alguns momentos naturalizada. Conclusão: A violência obstétrica é uma grave problemática vivenciada pelo público feminino e a falta de conhecimento pode levar à naturalização, deixando-as em posição de ampla vulnerabilidade.

RESUMEN Objetivos: analizar las experiencias intergeneracionales de mujeres migrantes de la misma familia sobre la lactancia; se aprehende las representaciones sociales de esa población a lo largo de las generaciones sobre la experiencia de amamantar. Material y métodos: investigación cualitativa, fundamentada en la Teoría de las Representaciones Sociales y realizada con 63 mujeres de la misma familia y de diferentes generaciones, 21 tríadas en total. Se utilizó, para la recolección de los datos, la Prueba de Asociación Libre de Palabras y, para el análisis de estos, elsoftwareTri-Deux-Mots. Resultados: para las mujeres migrantes, la práctica de amamantar permanece ligada a beneficios fisiológicos y emocionales para el hijo, exigiendo abnegación y satisfacción. En la lactancia, las mujeres que se desplazan a nuevos territorios son más vulnerables como consecuencia de la adaptación geográfica, sociocultural y afectiva a la que serán sometidas. El proceso migratorio puede influir en la lactancia y estar en el origen de conflictos de maternidad, especialmente entre generaciones más jóvenes, pues estas necesitan referencias familiares que, muchas veces, permanecen distantes o ausentes. Conclusiones: la diversidad sociocultural y el territorio influencian gran parte de las mujeres migrantes que amamantan, y es necesario comprender los determinantes regionales y culturales, y las influencias familiares y generacionales que permean ese proceso.

ABSTRACT Objectives: To analyze the intergenerational experiences of female migrants from the same family on breastfeeding; to grasp the social representations of this population over the generations about the experience of breastfeeding. Material and methods: This is a qualitative research based on Social Representations Theory and carried out with 63 women from the same family and from different generations, 21 triads in total. For the data collection, the Free Word Association Test was used and, for the analysis of these, the Tri-Deux-Mots software. Results: For migrant women, the practice of breastfeeding remains tied to physiological and emotional benefits for the child, requiring self-denial and satisfaction. In the breastfeeding period, women who move to new territories are more vulnerable due to the geographical, sociocultural and affective adaptation to which they will be subjected. It should be emphasized that the migratory process can influence breastfeeding and be the cause of maternal conflicts, especially among younger generations, since they require family references that often remain distant or absent. Conclusions: Socio-cultural diversity and territory influence the majority of breastfeeding migrant women, making it necessary to understand the regional, cultural, family, and generational influences that permeate this process.

RESUMO Objetivos: analisar as experiências intergeracionais de mulheres migrantes da mesma família sobre a amamentação; apreender as representações sociais dessa população ao longo das gerações sobre a experiência de amamentar. Material e métodos: trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, fundamentada na Teoria das Representações Sociais, e realizada com 63 mulheres da mesma família e de diferentes gerações, 21 tríades no total. Utilizou-se, para a coleta dos dados, o Teste de Associação Livre de Palavras e, para a análise destes, o software Tri-Deux-Mots. Resultados: para as mulheres migrantes, a prática de amamentar permanece atrelada a benefícios fisiológicos e emocionais para o filho, exigindo abnegação e satisfação. No período de amamentação, as mulheres que se deslocam para novos territórios são mais vulneráveis em decorrência da adaptação geográfica, sociocultural e afetiva a que serão submetidas. Ressalta-se que o processo migratório pode influenciar na amamentação e estar na origem de conflitos de maternagem, especialmente entre gerações mais jovens, pois estas necessitam de referências familiares que, muitas vezes, permanecem distantes ou ausentes. Conclusões: constata-se que a diversidade sociocultural e o território influenciam grande parte das mulheres migrantes que amamentam, tornando-se necessário compreender os determinantes regionais e culturais, e as influências familiares e geracionais que permeiam esse processo.

Introduction: Peritoneal dialysis is a renal replacement therapy that allows the patient to live with a certain degree of autonomy and flexibility. Nutritional diagnosis is crucial, considering the high prevalence of nutritional disorders amongst this population and its correlation with the clinical prognosis. The aim of the current study is to evaluate the nutritional state of patients receiving peritoneal dialysis. Methodology: This is a cross-sectional study realized with 30 patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis. Data collection was undertaken by scheduling appointments for nutritional assessment in which the following data were collected: anthropometric data, body composition, subjective global assessment, assessment of food consumption by means of 24-hour dietary recall and food frequency questionnaire. Biochemical tests and clinical history were obtained from the patients’ records. Results: Most patients were in good nutritional state, euvolemic. A positive statistical association was observed regarding phase angle and lean mass. The biochemical examinations showed that albumin, HDL-c and vitamin D levels were below reference values, whilst phosphorus and parathyroid hormone were above the ideal values. While glucose in the dialysate did not present any statistical association with regard to serum glucose, glycated hemoglobin or triglycerides, it demonstrated statistical association in relation to the preservation of somatic muscle mass. Food consumption assessment showed inadequate protein intake. Conclusion: Patients had good nutritional state and statistical association for a satisfactory prognosis, but nutritional follow-up was important in order to avoid complications.

Resumo Introdução: Pacientes com doença renal crônica em hemodiálise (HD) apresentam risco elevado para mortalidade, sendo que a desnutrição protéico-energética se destaca como uma das causa mais comuns em relação a essa condição. Objetivo: Avaliar a associação entre o tempo de hemodiálise e parâmetros nutricionais dos pacientes. Métodos: É um estudo transversal com dados secundários, desenvolvido no Hospital Universitário Federal Universidade de Juiz de Fora (HU / UFJF). Este estudo foi aprovado pela pesquisa Comitê de Ética (nº 1.233.142), um Total de 36 pacientes. Os dados foram coletados por meio dos prontuários médicos, os quais foram analisados marcadores antropométricos, bioquímicos e dieta, considerando dois grupos: tempo HD menor do que três anos e tempo de HD maior ou igual atrês anos. Resultados: Houve redução de massa de proteína somática com aumento do tempo em HD. Em relação à avaliação alimentar, observou-se que em pacientes com maior tempo em diálise houve aumento no consumo médio de proteína/kg de peso, calorias, fósforo e Potássio, com diferença significativa da ingestão média de proteína/kg (p = 0,04) e fósforo (p = 0,045). O tempo em HD alterou a composição corporal dos pacientes, indicando um declínio doestado nutricional desses indivíduos. Conclusão: Pacientes com HD são um grupo de risco para desnutrição protéico-energética, onde o tempo em HD interfere no perfil antropométrico e alimentar do paciente.O grupo com tempo de HD superior ou igual a 3 anos apresentou piora do estado nutricional.

Abstract Introduction: The mortality of the population with chronic kidney disease (CKD) on hemodialysis (HD) is very high and the protein-energy malnutrition stands out as one of the most common consequences in relation to this condition. Objective: To evaluate the association between time of hemodialysis and nutritional parameters of patients. Methods: It is a cross-sectional study with secondary data, developed of the University Hospital of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (HU/UFJF). This study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee (Nº 1.233.142), a total of 36 patients. The medical records and collected data were analyzed for anthropometric markers, biochemical and diet, considering two groups: HD time less than three and greater than or equal to three years. Results: There was reduction of mass of somatic protein with increased duration of HD. In relation to food intake was observed that in patients with increased duration of dialysis, an increase in average consumption of protein / kg of weight, calories, phosphorus and potassium, with a significant difference from the mean protein intake / kg (p = 0.04) and phosphorus (p = 0.045). Increasing HD time has altered body composition of patients, indicating a decline in the nutritional status of these individuals. Conclusion: HD patients are a risk group for protein-energy malnutrition, where HD time interferes with the nutritional status and food profile of the patient. The group HD time greater than or equal to 3 years presented worsening nutritional status.

OBJETIVO:verificar a prevalência da vertigem posicional paroxística benigna e identificar suas prováveis associações em uma população de idosos.MÉTODOS:estudo transversal realizado em idosos, submetidos à avaliação audiológica, questionário e à Manobra de Dix-Hallpilke. Aplicaram-se os testes não paramétricos: Qui-quadrado e regressão multivariada com intervalo de confiança de 95%.RESULTADOS:a amostra final foi de 494 indivíduos, com mediana de idade de 69(64,75- 74,00) anos. Observou-se a prevalência de 23,9% de vertigem posicional paroxística benigna e 51,6% de dor cervical e 37,9% de cefaléia. Houve associação estatisticamente significante entre a vertigem posicional paroxística benigna e dor cervical, gênero e cefaléia nesta população.CONCLUSÃO:conclui-se que nesta população de idosos a prevalência da vertigem posicional paroxística benigna foi de 23,9% e da dor cervical foi de 51,6% e houve associação significante entre a vertigem posicional paroxística benigna com a dor cervical e com o gênero feminino.

PURPOSE:to determine the prevalence of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo and identify their associations in an elderly population.METHODS:a cross-sectional study in elderly patients evaluated by audiological evaluation, comorbidity questionnaireand Dix-Hallpike maneuver Were applied nonparametric tests: Chi-square and multivariate regression with a confidence interval of 95%.RESULTS:the final sample consisted of 494 individuals, with a median age of 69 (64.75 to 74.00) years. Observed prevalence of 23.9% of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo and 51.6% of neck pain and headache 37.9%. There was a statistically significant association between benign paroxysmal positional vertigo and neck pain, headache and gender in this population.CONCLUSION:it is concluded that this elderly population the prevalence of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo was 23.9% and the neck pain was 51.6% and there was a significant association between benign paroxysmal positional vertigo with neck pain and female gender.

Este estudo teve por objetivo descrever as práticas de aprendizagem subjacentes ao processo de negociação em uma organização multiatores de caráter socioambiental. A pesquisa utilizou a estratégia do estudo de caso qualitativo e a coleta de dados teve por base a triangulação de técnicas, visando ao enriquecimento da interpretação. Para a análise, optou-se pela aplicação dos procedimentos das práticas discursivas. Constatou-se que a participaçãose revela importante prática de aprendizagem da negociação e da negociação da aprendizagem subjacente, por meio da qual os saberes relacionados aos papéis e estilos colocados em ação pelos multiatores estão vinculados aos fazeres construídos coletivamente, definindo, nessas fronteiras e interstícios, as deliberações normativas sobre as questões socioambientais.

This study aimed to describe the learning practices underlying the negotiation process in an organization with multiple actors and a socio-environmental nature. The research used the qualitative case study strategy and data collection was based on the triangulation techniques, aiming to enrich interpretation. For the analysis, we chose to apply the procedures of discursive practices. We found out that participation shows to be an important practice of the negotiation learning and the underlying learning negotiation, through which some knowledge related to roles and styles put into action by the multiple actors are bound to some collectively constructed doing, defining, at these boundaries and interstices, the normative deliberations on socio-environmental issues.

Este estudio tuvo como objetivo describir las prácticas de aprendizaje subyacentes al proceso de negociación en una organización con múltiples actores de naturaleza socio-ambiental. La investigación utilizó la estrategia del estudio de caso cualitativo y la recogida de datos se basó en la triangulación de técnicas, con el fin de enriquecer la interpretación. Para el análisis, se optó por aplicar los procedimientos de las prácticas discursivas. Se constató que la participación se revela una práctica importante de aprendizaje de la negociación y negociación de la aprendizaje subyacente, a través de la cual los conocimientos relacionados con los papeles y estilos puestos en acción por los múltiples actores están obligados a los hechos construidos colectivamente, definiendo, en eses límites e intersticios, las deliberaciones normativas acerca de las cuestiones socio-ambientales.

Este trabalho analisa os principais fatores que afetam as estratégias de redução de custos das companhias aéreas. Esses fatores foram apresentados a especialistas do setor aéreo por meio de duas rodadas de questionários no sentido de serem ponderados. Aplicou-se um método baseado na estrutura do AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) e os resultados mostram que os principais factores importantes para uma estratégia de companhias aéreas relacionadas com os custos são, em ordem de de importância: estrutura de rotas e mesh, tipo e características da aeronave; o custo do trabalho e a gestão da qualidade. Esta hierarquia pode ajudar o tomador de decisão diante da necessidade de definição de prioridades na redução de custos. Nas últimas décadas, apesar do aumento do transporte de ar e redução significativa dos custos de funcionamento média, observa-se que as linhas aéreas têm baixa rentabilidade. A liberalização dos mercados e oportunidades de aumento de concorrência diminui os preços, mesmo quando as companhias aéreas enfrentam custos crescentes. Considerando que a vantagem de custos é uma estratégia importante para as transportadoras para permanecer no mercado, este trabalho analisa os principais fatores que afetam as estratégias de redução de custos das companhias aéreas. Esses fatores custos foram apresentados a especialistas do setor aéreo por meio de duas rodadas de questionários no sentido de ser ponderado. Aplicou-se um método baseado na estrutura da AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) e os resultados mostram que os principais factores importantes para uma estratégia de companhias aéreas relacionadas com os custos são, em ordem de importância: estrutura de rotas e mesh, tipo e características da aeronave; mão-de-obra e gestão da qualidade. This paper analyzes the main factors that affect the strategies to reduce airlines costs. These costs factors were presented to experts from the airline industry through two rounds of questionnaires in sense to be weighed. It was applied a method based on the structure of the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) and the results show that the main important factors for a cost-related airlines strategy are, in importance: route structure and mesh; type and characteristics of the aircraft; cost of labor and management quality. This hierarchy can help the decision maker when facing the need of defining priorities in reduction costs. past decades despite the increase in air transportation and significant decrease in average operation costs, it is observed that airlines have low profitability. INTRODUCTION: Advancing age increases the risk for a number of chronic diseases. Hypertension and dizziness are highly prevalent in the elderly population and represent major health problems. OBJECTIVE: To verify the association between complaints of dizziness and the presence of hypertension in non-institutionalized elders. METHODS: This was a prospective cross-sectional cohort study of the elderly population of Londrina, Paraná in terms of aging and longevity. The required sample size was calculated, and subjects e" 60 years of age of both genders were selected at random. Data were collected using a questionnaire covering socio-demographic information and self-reported cases of hypertension and dizziness. Statistical analysis was performed using the chi-square test with p d" 0.05 as the level of significance. RESULTS: The study included 493 elderly subjects, of whom 257 (52.1%) complained of dizziness and 308 (62.5%) reported a diagnosis of arterial systemic hypertension. Dizziness was significantly associated with hypertension (χ² = 6.26, p = 0.01) and female sex. CONCLUSIONS: Hypertension and dizziness were both highly prevalent and were significantly associated, showing the great need for investments in preventive measures.

A amamentação é uma prática que envolve relação de ensino e aprendizado entre gerações. Portanto, as mulheres que a experienciam necessitam de modelos que advém das suas mães e/ou avós maternas. Para tanto, tivemos como objetivos apreender as representações sociais sobre amamentação de mulheres da mesma família e de três gerações distintas e identificar continuidades e descontinuidades nas práticas e representações relacionadas ao fenômeno e a atuação da enfermagem nesse processo. Estudo qualitativo centrado na Teoria das Representações Sociais, desenvolvido em um hospital de Itabuna-Bahia. A amostra constituiu-se de 21 mulheres. A coleta dos dados ocorreu entre outubro/2009 e julho/2010. Evidenciamos que as representações transitam entre uma percepção positiva e/ou negativa, que o processo ensino-aprendizagem é conduzido na intergeracionalidade, especialmente pelas enfermeiras, observação e mídia e que o cuidado do bebê define-se pela alimentação, corpo, saúde e afetos. Concluímos que é necessário compreender as representações na perspectiva geracional e individual.

Breastfeeding is a practice that involves teaching and learning across generations. Women experiencing breastfeeding need models that come from their mothers and maternal grandmothers. Therefore, this study's objectives were to capture social representations concerning breastfeeding held by women from three different generations of the same family and identify continuities and discontinuities in the practice and representation related to the phenomenon and the work of nurses in this process. This qualitative study based on the Social Representations Theory was developed in a hospital in Itabuna, BA, Brazil. The sample consisted of 21 women. Data were collected between October 2009 and July 2010. We show that the representations move between positive and negative perceptions, and that the teaching-learning process is conducted across generations, especially by nurses, through observation and the media, and that childcare is defined by feeding, body, health and affection. We conclude that it is necessary to understand the representations from both individual and generational perspectives.

El amamantamiento es una practica que implica en la enseñanza y el aprendizaje entre las generaciones. Por lo tanto, las mujeres que la experimentan necesitan de modelos, a menudo, provenientes de sus madres y/o de sus abuelas. Por lo tanto, hemos tenido como objetivo aprehender las representaciones sociales sobre la lactancia materna de las mujeres en la misma familia y tres generaciones distintas e identificar las continuidades y descontinuidades en las practicas y representaciones relacionadas con las actividades de este fenómeno y de la enfermera en este proceso. Este es un estudio cualitativo centrado en la teoría de las representaciones sociales desarrollada en un hospital de Itabuna-Bahia. La muestra estuvo conformada por 21 mujeres. Los datos fueron recolectados entre Octubre/2009 y Julio/2010. Se demuestra que las representaciones se movieron entre las percepciones positivas y/o negativas, el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje se lleva a cabo en la intergeneracionalidad, especialmente por las enfermeras, la observación y los medios de comunicación y el cuidado del bebé se define por la alimentación, el cuerpo, la salud y las afecciones. Llegamos a la conclusión que es necesario comprender las representaciones en perspectiva individual y generacional.

Breastfeeding is a practice that involves teaching and learning across generations. Women experiencing breastfeeding need models that come from their mothers and maternal grandmothers. Therefore, this study's objectives were to capture social representations concerning breastfeeding held by women from three different generations of the same family and identify continuities and discontinuities in the practice and representation related to the phenomenon and the work of nurses in this process. This qualitative study based on the Social Representations Theory was developed in a hospital in Itabuna, BA, Brazil. The sample consisted of 21 women. Data were collected between October 2009 and July 2010. We show that the representations move between positive and negative perceptions, and that the teaching-learning process is conducted across generations, especially by nurses, through observation and the media, and that childcare is defined by feeding, body, health and affection. We conclude that it is necessary to understand the representations from both individual and generational perspectives.

El amamantamiento es una practica que implica en la enseñanza y el aprendizaje entre las generaciones. Por lo tanto, las mujeres que la experimentan necesitan de modelos, a menudo, provenientes de sus madres y/o de sus abuelas. Por lo tanto, hemos tenido como objetivo aprehender las representaciones sociales sobre la lactancia materna de las mujeres en la misma familia y tres generaciones distintas e identificar las continuidades y descontinuidades en las practicas y representaciones relacionadas con las actividades de este fenómeno y de la enfermera en este proceso. Este es un estudio cualitativo centrado en la teoría de las representaciones sociales desarrollada en un hospital de Itabuna-Bahia. La muestra estuvo conformada por 21 mujeres. Los datos fueron recolectados entre Octubre/2009 y Julio/2010. Se demuestra que las representaciones se movieron entre las percepciones positivas y/o negativas, el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje se lleva a cabo en la intergeneracionalidad, especialmente por las enfermeras, la observación y los medios de comunicación y el cuidado del bebé se define por la alimentación, el cuerpo, la salud y las afecciones. Llegamos a la conclusión que es necesario comprender las representaciones en perspectiva individual y generacional.

A amamentação é uma prática que envolve relação de ensino e aprendizado entre gerações. Portanto, as mulheres que a experienciam necessitam de modelos que advém das suas mães e/ou avós maternas. Para tanto, tivemos como objetivos apreender as representações sociais sobre amamentação de mulheres da mesma família e de três gerações distintas e identificar continuidades e descontinuidades nas práticas e representações relacionadas ao fenômeno e a atuação da enfermagem nesse processo. Estudo qualitativo centrado na Teoria das Representações Sociais, desenvolvido em um hospital de Itabuna-Bahia. A amostra constituiu-se de 21 mulheres. A coleta dos dados ocorreu entre outubro/2009 e julho/2010. Evidenciamos que as representações transitam entre uma percepção positiva e/ou negativa, que o processo ensino-aprendizagem é conduzido na intergeracionalidade, especialmente pelas enfermeiras, observação e mídia e que o cuidado do bebê define-se pela alimentação, corpo, saúde e afetos. Concluímos que é necessário compreender as representações na perspectiva geracional e individual.

INTRODUÇÃO: O zumbido é um sintoma prevalente e de alto impacto na qualidade de vida do paciente idoso. A presença de cervicalgia e alterações na coluna cervical são comuns em pacientes com queixa de zumbido. OBJETIVO: Avaliar a prevalência do zumbido e cervicalgia em um grupo de idosos e verificar a possível associação entre zumbido, cervicalgia e restrição de amplitude de movimento cervical. MÉTODO: Estudo transversal retrospectivo com avaliação da amplitude de movimento cervical através de goniometria e do zumbido e da cervicalgia através da aplicação de questionário padronizado. RESULTADOS: A amostra foi constituída por 147 indivíduos, com idade média de 69,22 anos sendo 61,90% mulheres. Desses indivíduos, 42,85% apresentaram queixa de zumbido 51% dos indivíduos relataram queixa de dor cervical. Não houve associação entre zumbido e dor cervical e nem associação entre zumbido e restrição de amplitude de movimento cervical. CONCLUSÃO: Embora não tenha sido constatada associação entre zumbido e dor cervical e entre zumbido e restrição de amplitude de movimento, observou-se grande prevalência de queixa de zumbido, de cervicalgia e de diminuição na amplitude de movimento cervical na população de idosos. Os resultados da presente pesquisa, por meio da constatação desta grande prevalência do zumbido em toda a população de estudo, servirão de base a uma integração entre profissionais da área de saúde envolvidos com tais alterações.

INTRODUCTION: Tinnitus is a prevailing symptom that highly jeopardizes the elderly patient's quality of life. Neck pain and cervical column alterations are frequent in patients complaining about tinnitus. OBJECTIVE: Evaluate the prevalence of both tinnitus and neck pain on an elderly group, and verify the likely association between tinnitus, neck pain and the constraint to make wide cervical movements. METHODS: Retrospective transversal study, evaluating both the width of cervical movement by way of a goniometry and the tinnitus and neck pain by requesting a standard questionnaire to be filled out. RESULTS: Sample was comprised of 147 individuals aged between 69. 22, 61. 90% of whom were female. Among these individuals, 42. 85% showed a buzz complaint and 51% of these individuals claimed to have a neck pain. Neither was association found between tinnitus and neck pain nor it was between tinnitus and the width constraint of cervical movements. CONCLUSION: Despite not finding an association between tinnitus and neck pain or between tinnitus and the width constraint of cervical movements, there was a significant prevalence of tinnitus, neck pain and a reduction in the width of cervical movements on the elderly people. The results hereof, by finding this important prevalence of tinnitus in all the individuals of this study, will be the basis to integrate health professionals engaged in such alterations.

The lack of appropriate information has been associated with difficulties encountered by stroke survivors and their caregivers on the return to home phase. Their opinion about their genuine needs may help discharge planning and assist the rehabilitation process. This study aimed at understanding the experiences of these individuals and their caregivers. A review of narrative literature in the last 10 years, in the databases Lilacs, Scielo, Cochrane, Bireme and Medline, with their respective strategies was carried out. The selected articles identified: doubts about the disease, difficulties in daily life, family caregivers present adaptation inabilities and are unprepared for home care, positive and negative changes in family relationships, information and orientations in the hospital are inadequate and insufficient, and few studies focused on the role of the physiotherapist in this process. The analysis also recommends assistance and support programs for family caregivers at home, and indicates that the information can reduce their inabilities.

La falta de informaciones adecuadas se han asociado a las dificultades encontradas por los individuos después de un accidente vascular encefálico y sus cuidadores al volver a casa y la opinión de estos individuos sobre sus reales necesidades puede auxiliar las orientaciones en el alta hospitalario favoreciendo el proceso de rehabilitación. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo identificar en la literatura la experiencia del paciente y de sus cuidadores en el domicilio después del alta hospitalario e identificar la actuación del fisioterapeuta en este contexto. Se realizó una revisión narrativa de la literatura en los últimos 10 años en las bases de datos Lilacs, Scielo, Biblioteca Cochrane, y Medline. Los artículos seleccionados apuntaron: dudas sobre la enfermedad; dificultades en el cotidiano; falta de preparación de los cuidadores familiares en la casa; cambios positivos y negativos en las relaciones familiares; informaciones y orientaciones en el alta hospitalario insuficientes y frágiles y pocos estudios vueltos para el papel del fisioterapeuta .El análisis sugiere la necesidad de programas de orientación y asistencia a los cuidadores familiares en el domicilio y apunta la orientación como minimizadora de las dificultades de éstos.

A carência de informações adequadas tem sido associada às dificuldades encontradas pelas pessoas após o acidente vascular encefálico e seus cuidadores no retorno ao domicílio, cujas opiniões sobre suas reais necessidades podem auxiliar nas orientações quando da alta hospitalar, favorecendo o processo de reabilitação. Este estudo teve como objetivo identificar na literatura a experiência do paciente e de seus cuidadores no domicílio após a alta hospitalar bem como a atuação do fisioterapeuta neste contexto. Foi realizada uma revisão narrativa da literatura nos últimos 10 anos nas bases de dados Lilacs, Scielo, Biblioteca Cochrane, e Medline. Os artigos selecionados apontaram as seguintes situações: dúvidas sobre a doença; dificuldades no cotidiano; inabilidades e despreparo dos cuidadores familiares no domicilio; mudanças positivas e negativas nas relações familiares; informações e orientações na alta hospitalar insuficientes e frágeis e poucos estudos voltados para o papel do fisioterapeuta. A análise sugere a necessidade de programas de orientação e assistência aos cuidadores familiares no domicílio e aponta a orientação como minimizadora das dificuldades destes indivíduos.

OBJETIVO: Verificar o grau da variabilidade das medidas orofaciais, entre fonoaudiólogos especialistas em Motricidade Orofacial. MÉTODOS: Estudo longitudinal prospectivo, tendo 30 fonoaudiólogos especialistas em Motricidade Orofacial realizado, em dois momentos distintos, com uso de paquímetro digital, a mensuração de dez medidas orofaciais de um sujeito padrão. Foram comparados os dados inter e intra-examinador por meio das medidas de tendência central, das medidas de dispersão e de testes de hipóteses, com nível de significância de 5%. RESULTADOS: Nove dos dez parâmetros investigados foram considerados como homogêneos na avaliação inter e intra-observadores. A abertura máxima da boca com língua na papila apresentou coeficientes de variação altos, indicando dados heterogêneos, apesar dos valores de correlação inter-observadores terem sido considerados semelhantes. Já na avaliação intra-examinador para este parâmetro foi evidenciada uma diferença significante (p=0,0384). Na análise dos dados, observou-se ainda diferenças próximas ao ponto de corte estabelecido no estudo, na mensuração intra-observador do terço médio da face (p=0,0711) e da abertura máxima da boca (p=0,0677). Dentre as dez variáveis analisadas, não foi observada diminuição do coeficiente de variação da 1ª para 2ª mensuração apenas nos parâmetros terço médio da face e lábio superior. CONCLUSÃO: Não foi observada variabilidade nas mensurações orofaciais realizadas, exceto para o parâmetro abertura máxima da boca com língua na papila, indicando que dados produzidos por diferentes profissionais podem ser considerados parcialmente confiáveis.

PURPOSE: To verify the degree of variability of orofacial measures, among speech pathologists who are specialists in orofacial myology. METHODS: A prospective study was carried out, where 30 speech pathologists who are specialists in orofacial myology measured, in two different moments, with the use of a digital sliding caliper, ten orofacial measures of a standard subject. Within- and between-examiner data were compared using measures of central trend and dispersion, and hypothesis testing, with the level of significance of 5%. RESULTS: Nine out of the ten parameters investigated were considered as homogeneous in both within- and between-observers analyses. The maximum mouth opening with the tongue in the papilla presented high coefficients of variation, indicating heterogeneous data, although between-observers values were considered similar. In the within-examiner analysis for this parameter, a significant difference was evidenced (p=0.0384). In the data analysis, it was also observed differences next to the cut point established in the study, in the within-observer mensuration of the midfacial height (p= 0.0711) and the maximum mouth opening (p= 0.0677). Among the ten analyzed variables, it was not observed decrease in the coefficient of variation from the first to the second mensuration only for the parameters midfacial height and superior lip. CONCLUSION: It was not observed variability in the orofacial mensuration carried out in this study, except for the parameter maximum mouth opening with the tongue in the incisor papilla, indicating that data produced by different professionals can be considered partially trustworthy.

This present essay is about a quantitative research whose subject is the featuring of the research groups in Brazil, in relation to the connection between woman health and breastfeeding. The purpose was to identify the existing research groups that had breastfeeding as focus of interest, acting on woman health area. From November 2004 to July 2005, a survey based on the census of the National Scientific and Technologic Council from Brazilian Directory, was made by research groups. Using the descriptors woman health and breastfeeding, 12 groups were identified. The survey showed that the distribution of the groups for period was the following: 25% in the 80's, 50% in the 90's and 25 % in 2000. In relation to the institutional instance, 58% corresponded to federal institutions, 25% to the state and 17% to the private ones. Among the federative units, 34% of the groups are in São Paulo, 26% in Rio de Janeiro and 8% distributed among Pernambuco, Alagoas, Bahia, Rio Grande do Sul and Sergipe. About the linking of the groups to the instruction units or department, it's shown the following distribution: 25% not specified, 16,9% to social medicine and 8,3% distributed among the departments others. Analyzing the focus, 37% emphasized Collective Health , 27% Children Health, 8% Biology, 8% Woman Health, 7% Adult Health, 5% Mental Health, 3% Dental Health, and 2% Education. The conclusion is: there is scarcity of Research Groups about breastfeeding; after all, the woman health hasn't had exclusive attention, with the predominance of the children health.

Trata-se de um estudo quantitativo cujo objeto é a caracterização dos Grupos de Pesquisa no Brasil que correlacionassem a saúde da mulher e a amamentação. O objetivo foi identificar os Grupos de Pesquisa existentes que tivessem como foco de interesse a amamentação, tendo como área a saúde da mulher. De novembro de 2004 a julho de 2005 foi realizado um levantamento nas bases censitárias do Diretório dos Grupos de Pesquisa no Brasil, do Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico. Aplicando-se os descritores saúde da mulher e aleitamento materno foram identificados 12 Grupos. A análise destacou ser a distribuição dos Grupos por período de formação a seguinte: 25% na década de 80, 50% em 90 e 25% no ano 2000. Quanto à instância institucional, 58% correspondem a instituições federais, 25% estaduais e 17% privadas. Dentre as unidades federativas, 34% encontram-se em São Paulo, 26% no Rio de Janeiro, 8% distribuídas por Pernambuco, Alagoas, Bahia, Rio Grande do Sul e Sergipe. Quanto vinculação às unidades de ensino ou departamento, observa-se a seguinte distribuição: 25% não especificada, 16,9% à Medicina Social e 8,3% distribuídas entre demais departamentos. Analisando-se o enfoque, 37% destacam a Saúde Coletiva; 27% Saúde da Criança; 8% Biologia, 8% Saúde da Mulher, 7% Saúde do Adulto, 5% Saúde Mental, 3% Saúde Bucal e 2% Educação. Conclui-se que há escassez de Grupos de Pesquisa sobre amamentação, sendo que a saúde da mulher não tem tido exclusiva atenção, predominando, ainda a saúde da criança.
